How It Works
Your reports create a public, time‑stamped record of unsafe street conditions. Patterns, not individuals, lead to action.
The Process
- Report fast. Pick a category, share location, add a photo if safe. Done in seconds.
- We identify patterns. Repeated locations and conditions are grouped into clear summaries.
- We publish clear summaries. Factual, plain‑language write‑ups with dates, locations, and examples.
- We notify when needed. Formal notices are sent to connected organizations with relevant city code.
- We follow up. We track responses and remediation so improvements are visible to the community.
- We preserve evidence. If unsafe conditions continue and lead to crashes or harm, we can provide our documentation to authorities or legal counsel. This record may be relevant in showing knowledge of hazardous conditions and insufficient remediation.
What We Store
- Report details: category, location, optional description/email, and time created.
- Attachments (photos/videos/documents) to document conditions.
- No tracking or ads. The purpose is credible documentation that leads to safer streets.
Inspiration & Attribution
Inspired by Bike Lane Uprising’s Legal Notices to Companies. Their public‑interest approach to documenting patterns and notifying organizations helped shape this project.
We’re independent and local; suggestions are welcome as we expand categories and guidance.
