On July 25, 2026 at 10:28 PM, the reporter encountered a black Tesla stopped with its hazard lights on in the bike lane on 500 West near North Park during an event at the park. No driver was visible, and the reporter had to wait for many passing vehicles before riding around it. The reporter said similar bike-lane parking occurs almost every time they pass North Park during an event, including vehicles stopping for pickup or dropoff or being left with hazards on.
