On March 26, 2026 at 8:00 AM, the reporter was bicycling with their children to Timpanogos Elementary near 451 West 500 North when they approached a crosswalk where a crossing guard was stopping traffic. An SUV drove through the crosswalk past the guard as children were entering the crosswalk from the other side. The driver then parked in the daylighting area to drop off children at the curb.
